Lifetime Seal Warranty

The written terms of the lifetime warranty that comes with every LeakFixKit body-side seal kit. Last updated 23 August 2026.

Who stands behind it

I do — Tony, at LeakFixKit. Not a manufacturer's rep, not a warranty administrator. When you claim this warranty you are talking to the person who sold you the kit. 828-591-0302, or leakfixkit@gmail.com.

What is covered

Any piece of the body-side seal in your kit that becomes damaged or loses adhesion. There are no exclusions. I do not ask how it happened, I do not require photographs of the failure, and I do not require the damaged piece to be returned. Damaged is damaged — I replace it.

What you receive

A replacement of the affected piece or pieces, the same seal as the original. This is a piece-level replacement, not a whole new kit — if one door section fails, you get that door section. If more than one piece has failed, tell me and I will send all of them.

What it costs you

The replacement piece itself is always free, anywhere in the world. There is no handling fee, no restocking fee, no deductible, and you do not have to send the damaged piece back to me.

Shipping inside the United States: I pay it. The replacement arrives at no cost to you.

Shipping outside the United States: the piece is still free, but you are responsible for the shipping cost and for any customs duties, import taxes, brokerage, or other fees your country charges on the delivery. I will quote you the shipping before anything is sent, so you always know the cost up front.

How long it lasts

For as long as the kit remains installed on the Jeep it was installed on. There is no expiration date and no claim limit.

Who it covers

The original purchaser, and the specific vehicle the kit was installed on. If you sell the Jeep, the warranty does not transfer to the new owner. If you buy a different Jeep, you will need a kit made for that model.

How to make a claim

Call or text 828-591-0302, email leakfixkit@gmail.com, or message me on WhatsApp. Tell me which piece failed and where to send the replacement. Please have your order number or the email address you ordered with, so I can find the purchase and confirm which kit you have.

What this warranty is not

This is separate from the 12-month money-back guarantee, which is a different promise: install the kit, follow the video, and if your Jeep still leaks within 12 months I will make it right or refund you. The lifetime warranty here does not cover a refund of the purchase price — it covers replacement of the seal itself, permanently.

It also does not cover the vehicle. It covers the seal I sold you, not damage to the Jeep, its paint, its glass, its interior, or anything else — and not the cost of installing the replacement piece, which you can do yourself with the video.

Legal designation

Under the U.S. Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act this is designated a Limited Warranty. The only reason it carries that designation rather than “Full” is that it covers the original purchaser rather than transferring with the vehicle. In every other respect it is deliberately broader than what the law asks for: no exclusions, no fee on the part itself, no time limit.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights that vary by state or by country, and nothing written here takes away any right you have under the consumer protection law where you live.
